The Problem
Keeping a home organized can feel like a never-ending task—scattered belongings, forgotten storage spaces, and inconsistent routines often lead to stress and frustration. Most existing tools focus on checklists without addressing the emotional and practical challenges of maintaining an organized living space.
The Solution
By introducing visual categorization, room-based tagging, and personalized prompts, we created a seamless home organization journey that reduces stress, builds lasting habits, and encourages intentional living through clarity and structure.

DESIGN PROCESS
The process began by mapping out the customer journey to uncover key friction points in home organization, such as decision fatigue and procrastination. These insights directly informed our design roadmap, helping us prioritize features that support personalized, stress-free organization habits.
THE CHALLENGE
Can home organization be reimagined as a creative and calming daily ritual instead of a one-time chore?
The average American household contains 300,000 items. 78% people have no idea what to do with all the stuff. 54% people are overwhelmed by it.
INTERVIEWS
After understanding the challenge, we asked curious people what their relationship with organization is.
Curious about the emotional and behavioral side of home organization, we spoke with 9 individuals across age groups 20's-50's, professions, and diverse cultures to understand their real experiences with clutter. While organizing tools are everywhere, we wanted to uncover where those tensions truly lie.

My Role
Partnered with three classmates to take the project from inception to completion, delivering a ready-to-publish iOS app design. Driven by our shared struggles with organization, we took on this self-led challenge to make daily organization less stressful and more systematic.
